Arsenal win 3-0 but lose Eduardo to Shaktar

Arsenal continued their great start to the pre season by beating Austrian team SK Sturm Graz 3-0. Arsenal were wearing their new away strip for the first time. Arsenal grabbed an early lead on 16 minutes when Nasri fired home from just outside the box. New signing Chamakh had a good oportunity later on but his header was cleared of the line. Arsenal scored their second just before half time when Nasri scored a curling free kick. They then secured the win 57 minutes into the game when Emmanual Thomas set up Henry Lansbury who slipped the ball past the Graz goalkeeper.

Arsenal are sad though to lose Eduardo Da Silva to Ukranian side Shakhtar Donetsk for 6 million pounds. Eduardo spent 3 years at the club but failed to made a real impression, his time was overshadowed by his long term injury he suffered only a year into his spell at the club. Arsenal football club wish him all the best at his new club.
